About The Angel Program

The Angel Program helps families in the Greater Brandon area who have suffered a catastrophic event, such as a life-threatening disease, fire, flood, etc. Realizing money is not the only thing needed during a time of crisis; we meet practical needs, as well. Individuals and local business owners help meet those needs at no cost to the family. Our program matches individuals and families with available resources within our community. Examples of local businesses providing help are: A lawn care company maintains the lawn of a patient receiving chemotherapy A restaurant provides a gift certificate for the patient or caregiver Tradesmen offer services such as plumbing, AC repair, electrical, roofing, etc., to help maintain the home and ensure the family is comfortable in their time of need Businesses receive a “Foundation Angel” decal to display, stating they are a “Foundation Angel” and they care about others in the community. Our individual volunteer “Foundation Angels” are fulfilled as they give back to the community, utilizing resources or services made available to them and are pleased to have a way of helping families in need. Individual contributions can be: Babysitting while the parent(s) go to appointments Provides transportation to the grocery store, doctors’ visits, appointments Helps with household chores or anything else to help the family through the crisis If you, or someone you know would like to become an “Angel” – Please Click Here Do you know someone that would benefit from the Angel Program – Please Click Here...
